Hemorrhoid Problem?
I complained about a bump inside my butt. And my mom says it may be a hemorrhoid. I did some research and i am pretty sure specifically what it is. What can i do to treat it, because it really hurts? What can i do to avoid it again?

Had those when I was pregnant. NOT fun. Keep your anus clean. Use wipe for the bathroom (the ones meant for kids are the most gentle), don't sit on the toilet too long (no reading!) and don't strain. Hot baths or showers can help, beside a little epsom salts surrounded by the bath even better. Use a cortisone cream or a special cream for hemorrhoids (preparation H for example) to promote healing and decrease itch and swelling. Personally I was too embarrassed to buy P.H. so I bought regular cortisone, an anti-inflammatory medication similar to ibuprofen (Advil) can help too. It will go away surrounded by a few days. Make sure if it doesn't go away in a few weeks time to see your Dr, but that's probably what it is. Feel better!
