Planning to enjoy a hemorrhoid surgery soon...?
I have two external hems. a possible anal fissure, and possible internal hem. I'm scheduled to have the surgery the Tuesday during thanksgiving week. I be wondering from everything I looked into about the procedure and the pain, if I do a lemonade cleanse so my body have no toxins to remove if it would be more beneficial on my recovery time. The cleanse is for 10 days, but i expect to have a flush from the doctor the sunshine before the surgery. The thing I'm not sure something like is this, I read about someone saying that your anal total can shrink if it isn't being worked. I have no concept whatsoever if this is true or not. can anyone tell me if this cleanse will mess me up or if it actually is smart for this brand of surgery recovery time? I've done cleanses before but they weren't this demanding of not consumption. PLEASE GUIDE ME THROUGH THIS.

I had a hemorrhoidectomy about a year ago. You will return with golyltely or halflytly a day before the surg to verbs you out so that you don't defecate for a day or so after the surg to allow you to heal. No, you will not "shrink" if you don't run for a few days, plus the narcotics tend to constipate. Risk of infection is small with that surgery even if you start to deficate that same day. The anguish is not too bad,but if you wait to long to finally enjoy a bowel movement-like I did (5 days) it will be excrutiating!So, use colace or some stool softener right after,also use the sitz bath they give you.....your butt will thank you.
